About Jerry Schwartz and Legal Management Services, Inc.

Jerry Schwartz has been a law firm administrator and a consultant to the legal profession since 1981. During that time, he has focused on operations efficiency and profitability improvement. Jerry formed Legal Management Services, Inc. in 1989 to provide management and consulting services to small and medium sized law firms. Legal Management Services, Inc. gives law firms the tools to run their businesses more efficiently so they can achieve success and grow their business while they focus on what they do best – legal advice to their clients.

Jerry’s articles on law firm management have been widely published in journals including Law Practice Management, Law Office Economics and Management, Legal Management, The Mississippi Lawyer and numerous regional publications. Jerry speaks on legal management topics to regional and international audiences, including the American Bar Association, Association of Legal Administrators, the University of Mississippi Law School, the Center for Continuing Legal Education and state and local bar associations.

Jerry served as president of the Memphis Chapter of the Institute of Management Accountants and the Association of Legal Administrators. Jerry is currently the recommended consultant of the Mississippi Bar for issues relating to law firm management. Jerry is an accounting graduate of Christian Brothers University in Memphis.
